About Us
Amanda Allfrey of Applestow Designs, is an interior designer based in Kent, with projects in the South East, London and the West Country.
Amanda likes to work closely with her clients to ensure that their interior design is both beautiful and comfortable as well as practical for their needs. She sources fabrics, fixtures and fittings from a large range of suppliers and is happy to commission bespoke pieces to fit a scheme and attends various antiques trade shows to select specific pieces.
Typically, an Applestow interior design consultation will start with a client meeting, from which Amanda will develop a mood board of ideas and fabrics, furniture, finishes. Once agreed, Amanda can either work closely with the builders and decorators to ensure it is delivered or can give the scheme to the client if they would prefer to implement it themselves. “I like to work closely with a client and aim to come in on time and on budget – this should be a fun time for the client, watching their house become a home”
